Hope Center Adults Program, Fall 2025
Hope in Light
We studied the changes of light from morning to evening and watched the neighborhood shift. We worked together as a team, learning about each other's light, and took portraits of these intimate moments. We reflected on nature and the streets of Harlem, seeing hope through its architecture and flowers but most of all through the shadows that fall in between. The changing light is a reflection of the inner works of each photographer. Using these new tools, we learned to leave room for infinite possibilities of taking control of light. Please enjoy this journey in navigating the city lights of Harlem.

The Wandering i
With a curious eye and taking a chance on a new Sony camera, Harlem's own teens came together to discover a piece of their neighborhood using new techniques in photography. What's a photo without some selfies and practicing with each other? Getting to know each other was the catalyst of these images as getting together in a new creative circle was the start of a new doors opening. Enjoy the curious eye these students are sharing with you.
