My First Two Weeks at JHP

I just finished the first two weeks of my internship with the Josephine Herrick Project. Over this week, I learned about the origin of this nonprofit organization, and about Josephine Herrick as a person. Not only that, but I started to learn about managing an arts organization. I helped to organize an exhibition by curating and hanging pictures at Ulmer Public Library in Brooklyn. I also got a chance to observe other photography classes and learned how teachers interact with students. Most recently, I learned how to manage camera equipment and inventory everything we have.
